Eva Tusquets is a multimedia artist from Barcelona, now based in Brooklyn. Where she has lived for a decade. Her work is focused on the empowerment of women, approaching female beauty, mystery and strength. Eva's films and photography are shot in an erotic ambience, with an atemporal aesthetic, and through them she explores subjects as eroticism, power dynamics, sexuality and the occult from a very intimate and obscure point of view. Always with a halo of melancholy and dream state often perpetuated through echoes of a voice-over.

Tusquets is also well-known in the New York underground BDSM scene for her ritual performances, playing her alter-ego, Ave Lilith, the Goddess of Chaos.

In addition to her video and photography work, Eva is as Set Decorator for film and music videos, which provides her with an extraordinary visual sense to recreate mysterious seductive worlds with an impeccable beauty. Some of the movies she has decorated have been selected in renowned film festivals as Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.

She has exhibited and performed internationally in notable institutions as the Contemporary Museum of Art  MoMA ps1 in New York, Contemporary Art Museum Villa Croce in Genova (Italy)

Contemporary Art Museum Museion, in Bolzano (Italy), CaixaForum Museum in Barcelona (Spain),

The Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona CCCB (Spain), Saint Vitus Brooklyn,

Knitting Factory Brooklyn (NY).
